TERRAIN- Easy  paths to follow, easy walking on grass or stone path

At the start of the walk, there are fine views of the Sychnant Pass and the foothills of the Carneddau Mountains, the path leads from the car park on a solid stone path until you reach the path between the two hills, stay on this path and follow it to the right, there are various paths to follow on the right which all lead to the summit, we followed the wide grass one in the middle.

You can see the summit in front of you, in the summer the heather flourishes along the walk.

You come to a slight scramble but nothing too hard, to get to the summit, the summit is home to the remains of Castell Caer Seion, an Iron Age Hill-fort, and a number of ancient hut circles.

We had the pleasure of meeting the wild Carneddau ponies along our walk.

The views from the summit are amazing, we had a walk past the summit and found another sign about the remains.

We returned the same route.
