RESERVOIR WALK
ROCHDALE
PARKING-Forsyth lane Rochdale OL12 7TL
MILES-4 miles approx.
FACILITIES- NO Facilities
TERRAIN-Good paths around the reservoir, cattle on the route, some boggy sections and moorland if you go off trail
The car park is at the end of a single track road, it is a bumpy road so we took it slow, but the car park is big enough for a few cars.
From the car park we took the path down towards the reservoirs, there was some cattle but not near the main paths.
You can walk all 4 reservoirs but we chose to walk the 2 on the right and then we headed up hill to explore some ruins which lead us back to the car, then we headed to the trig point which can be seen from the car park.
There are various paths off the main paths around the reservoir which are worth exploring in good weather.
