HALLIN FELL 1271 FT

SITUATED IN THE FAR EASTERN FELLS

LAKE DISTRICT

PARKING- Small car park on Martindale Hause above Howtown

MILES -1 mile up and down

ASCENT-156 m

FACILITIES- Closest would be Pooley bridge which has pubs and a shop

TERRAIN - Steep but grass path, easy and short to follow

The route up Hallin Fell is probably one of the easiest and quickest to follow but it gets the heart pumping.

It’s a short walk but has quite a steep ascent, especially at the start.

From the parking area you follow the path ahead of you and it leads to the large trig, its a great walk in all weathers as its impossible to get lost.

Takes approx 1 hour up and down, views over Ullswater from the Stone Trig point are fantastic.

We were lucky we had snow at the top so the kids enjoyed sliding down.
