FACILITIES- No facilities

TERRAIN-Some Moorland walking, maintained paths and some muddy sections

Various walks from Easy to Medium in difficulty

This is a great walk  with the majority good solid paths, with some of the walk on the road for the windmills.

We started form the car park and turned right at the reservoir following the wall on our left.

We cam to a bridleway path to the right hand side which we followed,  a map is recommended to follow the correct paths up to Crook Moor which you cant miss as its got the windmill farm on the summit. Beware there is cows on the brideway so we turned off before the main path to avoid the cows.

The following circular walk included these hills, when leaving the main path to the summits it can be boggy.

Starting point Water grove reservoir

Clay pots hill

Shore Moor

Crook hill

Rough hill

Hades hill

Middle hill/little middle hill

Brown wardle hill

Back to Watergrove Reservoir making it a great circular walk

Map is recommended and suitable clothing if doing the full 10 miles, please bear in mind mileage can vary depending which paths you take.
