There are no steps, stiles or gates and Fewston reservoir features wide, well surfaced paths with only a few moderate inclines.

We headed here first to go past a very famous footballers house, and what a beautiful place they live. We decided to do a small circular through the forest  turning just before the house on the return path and then walk around Fewston reservoir

We decided to head towards swinsty reservoir for a short forest walk so we walk past this magnificent house which over looks the reservoir and is a very famous footballers home. We turned up the path at the side of the house and returned through the forest to pick up the main path for Fewston reservoir.

The path is easy to follow, plenty of views around the reservoir, places to stop and enjoy a picnic too. You can turn back at any point to make a shorter walk, the path does get a little steep in sections but  with the terrain wheelchair and the hubby we managed without any incidents.

One of the steep sections of the path that has many small stones, normal wheelchair would possible struggle. I am glad we followed the reservoir on the left hand side instead of crossing the dam first. There was one steeper path which was easier to go down than push up.

We visited in winter which Ariya loved as she found lots of leaves, the route is very easy to follow around the reservoir, you reach a short section where you walk beside the road on a path then go through the other car park to return back to the circular path through the forest.
