🛝 Large play area in the main entrance close to the cafe and Gruffalo trail for kids but this route is non on the tramper route.

🥾 5 miles and waymarked throughout

The tramper hire is amazing and gives my husband a rest from pushing me. Once you sign up via the link above, you can book online. Then when you arrive you will be given a demonstration on how to use it. The tramper starts from the visitors centre and sign posted the whole way.

The paths are wide with small stones on, a terrain wheelchair would also manage but there is some steep ascents/decents.

The views are beautiful, there will be a shorter route available once  the trails are completed.

The routes winds its way through the forest exploring some of the quieter areas of the western side of the forest around Wood Moss tarn.

For the kids there is a large play area, also a go ape in the forest and hire of bikes too. Great place to finjish with ice cream or enjoy a picnic. On the opposite side of the forest is the Gruffalo trails for the kids, it would be possible to access with a wheelchair as we have done it with a pram in the past its approx 1.5  miles
