WALKING DETAILS

Limited parking at the end of a lane leading to the start of the walk, ignore the first gate/stile next to the National Trust sign, it takes you around  a path which makes a circuit of the fell, pass this to go to a second gate/stile which is about 180 yards from the start of the lane.

The paths are easy to follow, you may be lucky and see the fell ponies, but please dont feed them as they may be on a special diet.

There is a Small cairn on the summit, but a great place to stop and admire the views.

You can return the same way or make it a circular walk.

This is a Easy walk we did this with a friends little boy who was just 2, Ariya was 3 and they both managed fine with a couple of snack stops and of the course a roll down the hill afterwards.
