Excellent walk for all ages, on forest paths and well maintained stone path to the summit.

The trail is sign posted from the car park with various trails in the area, there was still snow lying on the ground when we went which the kids loved as they got to have a snow ball fight, we took the route direct to the summit and back the same way as it was quite windy.

You follow marker posts throughout this route to the summit platau where you cross moorland on stone flagged path, the final ascent is a little scramble so care is needed especially if its wet.

Because of the ice on the ground the kids slid down the hill at the summit so they didnt come back down the rocks.

Fantastic and easy afternoon walk
