WHITE COPPICE WATERFALL WALK

Although a  man-made waterfall that was once a outflow from a mill pond, it is worth the visit to explore the moorland and waterfalls, with the options of extending your walk to include the reservoirs or White hill summit

WATERFALL WALK

CHORLEY

PARKING-CRICKET CLUB PR6 9DE

MILES- 3-4 miles approx.

FACILITIES- Non on route

TERRAIN-Rough terrain with moorland walking, muddy paths and some incline.

We parked at the side of the cricket club and followed the path at the back of the car park through the gate. We turned  left through the forest trail before turning right and heading along the hill side. We followed the path that leads up to  White Hill summit which is quite boggy especially after rain and heads along the moorland with the waterfalls on your right..

Just over half way we crossed the waterfalls to return the other side, making it a nice little circular walk, you can continue to the summit and return  the same way.

We stopped at the waterfalls on the way back, great place for a couple of hours to a full days exploring
