LING FELL 1224 FT
SITUATED IN THE NORTH WESTERN FELLS WAINWRIGHT 205
PARKING-Brumston Bridge, about half a mile east of Wythop Mill
FACILITIES- Non throughout the walk
TERRAIN- Good paths throughout, mostly grass paths
Go through the gate at the bottom of the Corpse Road, there are no waymarking signs here.
You follow the path as it traverses the hillside with gentle inclines, .
Keep left, when the track splits just in front of a large boulder.
Follow the track as it climbs more steeply and goes left to climb a shallow ravine. Nearing the crest, bear right and then right again on a worn but faint path through the grass and heather.
The trig point soon comes into view.
Great easy walk, with grass hills to roll down, a good terrain buggy would also manage on this route.
